Evans Volksplane CNC pack, additional wood pack also available

As featured in RCME August 2013

The Evans Volksplane first flew in 1968 and provided a very cheap, straightforward and
stable aircraft for budding home builders. Of all wood, strut-braced construction and covered in fabric, an upgraded VW Beetle engine could power this diminutive 24ft span aircraft to speeds of over 100 knots, and with a 200-mile range and a ceiling of over 10,000ft it was hugely successful and desirable.

Designed by Peter Miller in 1983, this 1/6-scale version is of traditional built-up construction and although originally designed for i.c. power, it’s the perfect candidate for an electric conversion and a great scale project for first-time builders.
