Wood Discounts over £50

When purchasing wood over the value of £50 a 10% discount will be applied in the checkout. Wood over the value of £100 will receive a 10% discount and free postage to Uk main land only with exceptions to some Scottish postcodes.

Postage Charges

Due to web site software limitation all postage on wood orders will show in the check out as £9.00, and is a Courier next day service. This is the maximum charge for any UK mainland order with exceptions to some Scottish postcodes.
But because no monies are taken from your credit card until the order is complete and ready for dispatch, any orders weighing under 2Kg will be reduced to £4.50 Royal Mail service with a 3 to 5 day delivery time.

Any customer requiring the fast next day Courier service at £9.00 to stay as charged, please leave a message in the shipping note box.

Price Increase April 2010

We are sorry for the large Balsa wood price increase. Our prices were due to rise by about 10% this year which would have been our first since 2008 but because of the weak pound against the Australia dollar the Papua New Guinea mill have added a further 20% this year to their last year lumber increase. This has left us with no alternative but to increase prices accordingly.
Although this is a big increase Papua New Guinea is still the cheapest with the best quality Balsa wood in the World.
